Only through the support of many people across north-central Wisconsin can the Mountain-Bay Trail be maintained as an standing resource for all. Becoming a Friend of the Mountain-Bay Trail is a great way to make an important contribution, meet people with similar interests and have a great time doing it. We especially welcome people from Shawano County.
Friends Work on the Trail
Friends may work with trail staff to improve and maintain the trail. Friends may volunteer time to work on scientific and interpretive projects on the trail.
Friends Safeguard the Trails
Friends may work on issues such as preservation or public awareness to help protect this valuable resource.
Friends Support the Trail
Friends raise money through donations, dues, and the sale of merchandise. This money can be used for special projects to enhance the trail.
Marathon County Friends of the Mountain-Bay Trail, Inc.
Membership in the Marathon County Friends of the Mountain-Bay Trail costs just $5 for an individual or $10 for a family. We also need people willing and able to serve on our board of directors. We are always looking for new people to make time as officers for the group as well. These are the people that keep things going.
